ConEst

Web makeover for a 27-year-old electrical contracting software company

If you went to ConEst’s old website, you could honestly say, “Welcome to 2006!” ConEst, the leading provider of estimating software for electricians, hadn’t changed their design in over 10 years.

Turns out, every time the folks at ConEst tried to update their site, they’d get sidetracked by non-website related issues and never seemed to feel comfortable with pulling the trigger on any of the three design makeovers they attempted over the years.

Granted, the website makeover process causes site owners to dig deep into their identity and can often spill over into core product or service questions. That’s healthy. But when a company is paralyzed by analysis, a breakthrough is required.

Perfection, meet iteration

As part of the virtual team at 3 Media Web, the creative director Robbie Moore showed the folks at ConEst that, just like their software, their site wasn’t supposed to be static. All healthy sites are living, breathing entities and SHOULD evolve and improve over time.

ConEst is now in a comfortable rhythm of continual, incremental improvements – finding new and better ways to strive for perfection.

Just rechanneling the exact same energy that got to the top in their industry.
