Harding is a global manufacturer of machine tools. I’m talking big machine tools – the kind that make other tools.
Over the past decade, Hardinge got big as well. They gobbled up a dozen other top-notch machine tool manufacturers all around the world. And you’ll never guess what happened: they turned into a global leader. 😉
Unfortunately, in the process, their main corporate site turned into a mishmash of about a dozen different product lines and brands.
And that’s where Robbie came in. 3 Media Web – a wordpress development company out of Boston – tapped Robbie Moore to be the creative director to harmonize all the different sites.

The secret: Robbie did an inventory of all the existing sites before putting pen to paper – or mouse to pad. ;P
As far as the design process was concerned, it was simply a matter of mapping all the content and functionality to a unified theme. With the different sub-brands to convert, it will take years to fully execute the transition to a unified brand voice.
But the initial launch is shockingly powerful.
Kinda like everyone in the band is now playing in the same key at the same tempo – making beautiful music together. 🙂
