What do you do when you can’t show what you do?
You make a cool video.
At least that’s what Wes Dyson at AMSC did.
Wes was the in-house creative talent at AMSC. He had the challenge of presenting AMSC – a company that makes windmills and semiconductors – but can’t show their actual products. That’s because some of AMSC’s clients are sensitive about letting people know exactly what their technology looks like (like the U.S. Navy!)
Ya Feel Me?
Wes’ solution was to put together a dynamite video that emphasizes an emotional response to what AMSC’s products do for people.
And since the video was so important to the rebranding of the company, the main idea behind the website was pretty simple: capitalize on the video by putting it front and center on the homepage.
Add to that some curved boxes and swooshes to tie in with the company logo and you have a pretty slick, new website.
